Legal matters:
As per the property ownership, the buyer will get a 30 years term lease on the land which can be renewed twice (up to 90 years) as foreigners are not allowed to own land directly under their name. However, he will get full ownership of the house, which is built on the land. The land lease is registered with The Thai Official Land Department under the buyer’s name. A freehold option is available for Thai nationals and Thai companies.
